Friends, we have two webinars for you. Tomorrow is for all who want to protect their hopefully-compounding net worth from a lengthy/costly probate. March 19th is for all who want to ensure they're identifying tax gold mines and avoiding tax land mines.
Everyone is welcome, but the content is geared for U.S. taxpayers. If this serves as a reminder for you and you've already registered for tomorrow... great! The registration button is below if not.
A little story... these lunch-and-learn sessions have been an ongoing favorite pastime of mine for sixteen years. Not always easy times, but largely fun and rewarding for me to personally build my own financial literacy as well as equip myself to share/pay it forward with all of you.
There's never been Club 'dues' or any cost to attend our sessions. Well, save for the years my kids were very small and I'd suggest "Box Tops for Education" be voluntarily brought to our lunch-and-learn gatherings as a fun sub for Club dues that I could then bag up and bring into my sons' teachers. Oh, the memories of the piles of Box Tops we'd amass! Aww. Loved that time. Thanks for those of you who helped sear that memory into my mind back then.
I'd love to keep us an open-source community like that. This resource serves so many people. The stories of folks who come and learn and figure out their money better are what fuel me. The reward for me is absolutely in your stories, comments, and participation. Please keep them coming. The nostalgia from you all keeps the light on in my heart for this work.
So, do share your experience or a story below in the comments for me about what The Money Matters Club has meant for you?
If you're not a full member of The Club yet, do sign up/create a log in at the top right corner of our site. I'd like to more fully utilize or at least test the membership/community features and engagement opportunities offered on this platform one day.
If you're not getting emails and have to find the blogs and events manually without the subscriber notifications, let me know that too please (I think I have that glitch figured, but keep the feedback coming plz.)?
Hope to see y'all on March 5 and March 19!
And those of you still working at my home campus at the same mothership where this Club was founded and which I left in August as an early retiree, (you know who you are), I'll be on campus again at this Thursday's Women's Conference giving a talk about women and money. Hope to see you!

If any of you would also like to hear that talk on 'women and money' offered as a Club webinar for all, one day too, vote with a comment below.
See you at The Club!

E.M.Powers ("el") is a regular person with no particular financial credentials or expertise who happens to be a money enthusiast and the founder of The Money Matters Club, a virtual watercooler for like-minded individuals with a thirst for building their own financial health. Since 2006, she's helped thousands of co-workers build their financial literacy and wealth by participating in The Money Matters Club, a community she built on her employer's internal network. Since 2023, she's been attempting to scale The Club's reach through its second home on the World Wide Web. Her opinions--as well as the opinions of all participants--are just that: opinions, which are subject to flawed logic, math, typos and correction. She keeps a growth mindset and is also always learning something new or bolstering her own understanding after discussions at The Club. All information shared is done so with the best intent to inspire and empower others to learn more about money considerations toward building their own financial muscles. Nothing shared is meant as individualized advice that anyone should act on without doing their own curious research and personal decision making. There are no dumb questions at The Money Matters Club. Your financial health and literacy are what this Club cares about. All investing involves risk. All results can and will vary.
